Applications for the Google Summer Internship Program 2023 are now being accepted. International Students from all across the world can participate in the Google Summer of Code internship program. During three months, a maximum $6000 stipend and a minimum $3000 stipend will be provided. Any students who are enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree programs as well as current university students who are at least 18 years old are eligible to apply for the Google internship.

About Google Summer of Code:
Get a stipend while producing code during the summer and learning about open-source development.

This internship allows for remote work from home. There is no obligation for travel as part of the program; all growth takes place online.

Eligibility Criteria for Google Internship Program:
The following requirements must be met by candidates in order to be considered for Google Summer of Code:
- Every international student from any country is qualified.
- Must be a citizen of a nation that is not now under US embargo.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, and doctoral students at universities may apply for it.

- Must be an open-source beginner.
- For the term of the program, participants must be able to work in their country of residency.
How does it work?
Students:
The students submit a project plan for the summer and make contact with the mentor groups they wish to engage with. Students that are approved spend a month integrating with their groups before they begin to code. After that, students have three months to code while adhering to the deadlines set by their mentors.
Organizations:
Open source initiatives submit applications to mentor organizations. After being approved, organizations consult with students on potential concepts before selecting the ones they want to guide for the summer. Each student will be assisted by a mentor as they progress through the program.
Mentors:
Current donors to the organizations have the option of mentoring a student project. Together, mentors and students decide on the proper summertime milestones and criteria. The program’s mentor interaction component is essential.
