- Students pursuing a Master’s degree in research may receive full funding for up to two years, while those pursuing a Ph.D. degree may receive funding for up to four years.
- For students pursuing a Master’s degree by research, a living allowance of $37,000 per year pro rata (based on the 2024 full-time study rate) is available for up to two years, while those pursuing a doctoral degree may receive the allowance for up to 3.5 years. The living allowance, which may be subject to annual adjustments for inflation, encompasses a restricted provision for paid sick, maternity, and parenting leave.
- Students relocating from states or territories outside of Victoria may receive a relocation grant of $2,000, while those coming from outside Australia may receive $3,000.
