Texas A&M University’s competitive four-year Academic Scholarships are awarded by Scholarships & Financial Aid. These awards are available to incoming freshmen only. Awarded students will be notified of their selection in February of their high school senior year. Each scholarship includes a one-time $1000 scholarship to be used for a Texas A&M approved study abroad experience.

Century Scholars Program
  • $5,000 per year for 4 years
  • Must maintain a 2.75 overall GPR
President’s Achievement Scholarship
  • $2,500 per year for 4 years
  • Must maintain a 2.75 overall GPR

Eligibility for TAMU Academic Achievement Scholarships 2018

There is no minimum SAT or ACT score in order to be considered.

In addition to your academic achievement including achievement under difficult circumstances, your co-curricular involvement (campus and community activities, leadership roles, employment, etc.) is also considered.

In order to provide scholarship opportunities to the greatest number of students, Texas A&M does not stack Academic Scholarships. If you qualify for more than one Academic Scholarship you will receive the highest dollar-value scholarship only.


Academic Achievement Scholarships are four year awards. You must meet eligibility requirements each year to continue receiving your scholarship in future years.

How to Apply for TAMU Academic Achievement Scholarships 2018

Apply using the ApplyTexas Application or the Coalition Application. You must complete the admission and scholarship portions to be considered.
