How to Check BISE Multan 10th Class Result 2026
Three methods are available to check your matric result. Each works differently. Use the one that fits your situation on result day.
Check by Roll Number Online
Checking by roll number is the fastest method. It gives you subject-wise marks and your final grade in seconds.
Follow these steps:
- Open your browser and go to bisemultan.edu.pk on 6th August 2026
- Locate the result search section on the homepage
- Enter your roll number exactly as it appears on your roll number slip
- Press the search or submit button
- Your full result with marks for every subject will appear immediately
This method works best when the website is not under heavy traffic. If the page is slow at 10:00 AM, wait a few minutes and try again. High student volume on result day can slow official portals temporarily.
Check by Name
Lost your roll number slip? You can still check your result using your name.
Here is how to do it:
- Download the official result gazette from bisemultan.edu.pk after the result announcement
- Open the downloaded file on your computer or laptop
- Press CTRL + F on your keyboard to open the search function
- Type your full name as registered with BISE Multan
- Your entry will appear in the list with your roll number beside it
- Verify your result using your roll number as confirmation
Some students also visit the board office to purchase the printed result CD, which contains the complete gazette in searchable format. Both options work reliably once the gazette is published.
Check by SMS Without Internet
No internet connection on result day? The SMS method gives you your result directly on your mobile phone.
Steps to check by SMS:
- Open the messaging app on your mobile
- Type your roll number only — nothing else in the message
- Send it to 800293
- A reply arrives with your result details within minutes
Standard SMS charges apply per message. Each message delivers one result. This method is especially reliable for students in rural areas of southern Punjab where internet connections may be limited.
Passing Marks for BISE Multan Matric Result 2026
Understanding the passing criteria helps you interpret your result correctly.
To pass the BISE Multan 10th class examination in 2026:
- Students must score a minimum of 33% marks in each individual subject
- The minimum total score to pass overall is 440 out of 1100 marks
Both conditions are mandatory. Achieving the total minimum does not compensate for failing a single subject. A student who scores below 33% in any subject fails that subject, regardless of their cumulative performance.
Critical update for 2027 onwards: The Government of Punjab has confirmed the passing percentage will rise from 33% to 40% starting next academic year. Students currently in 9th class should adjust their preparation accordingly and aim for higher individual subject scores.

Grades and Grading Scale for Matric 2026
Your grade reflects more than a percentage. It determines college eligibility, scholarship qualification, and merit standing.
BISE Multan follows the standard Punjab board grading scale:
| Grade | Marks Range | Description |
|---|---|---|
| A+ | 90% and above | Outstanding |
| A | 80% – 89% | Excellent |
| B | 70% – 79% | Very Good |
| C | 60% – 69% | Good |
| D | 50% – 59% | Satisfactory |
| E | 40% – 49% | Pass |
| F | Below 33% | Fail |
Securing an A or A+ grade puts you in a strong position for admission to top-ranked intermediate colleges in Multan and across Punjab. It also opens eligibility for government merit scholarships and talent programmes.
